Emails Show Clinton 'Leadership, Ownership' of U.S. Policy in Libya

Here is a fascinating account from the Washington Examiner documented with the released emails from emailgate of how Hillary Rodham Clinton and her entourage cast herself as the key shaper of international policy towards Libya during the key days of Feb 2011 to August 2013.  Most fascinating is how this presentation makes it appear that America and not France, Britain, or Qatar led the operation, when in fact the genius of Clinton/Obama's policy was exactly that the USA did not lead. We didn't even lead from behind and that was the genius of it but yet this is widely misunderstood both then and even more so today.

Most of the 3,849 emails date back to 2011, when the security situation in Libya was deteriorating and Clinton was leading an international charge to intervene in the conflict. The documents shed new light on how forcefully Clinton fought for the U.S. to become involved in the civil war there, but long stretches of time without any mention of the conflict revives questions about whether she turned over everything related to the crisis....Sidney Blumenthal, a divisive confidante of Clinton's who served as an informal advisor on Libyan foreign policy, advised Clinton on how totake credit for the ouster of Muammar Gaddafi, the former Libyan dictator who was overthrown by rebels.
