The LNA has taken major strategic positions in the west of Benghazi on Saturday 27th June 2016 according to pro-Dignity Tripoli Post. LNA’s spokesperson Colonel Mesmari announced full control of several BRSC (Benghazi Revolutionary Shura Council) strongholds including the famous Chinese Buildings and the Turkish Company headquarters.Colonel Mesmari yet added that LNA took control of Libya Shield 1 base which is, according to Tripoli Post, the most important stronghold for BRSC.
“Army battalion 302 took over Deraa Libya Camp 1 and with all its military equipment and killed all those were inside,” Colonel Mesmari told a news conference Friday night.
