Is Malta becoming a key ally for Turkey in Libya?
On 6 August, Al-Monitor’s Fehim Tastekin published an analysis of the growing rapprochement between Turkey and Malta with regards to Libya. As major EU states align against it, Turkey needs an ally, but Tastekin is doubtful that ‘tipping the balance’ in Libya is worth the risk for Malta.
