Building peace through subnational governance : the case of Libya

In their article “Building Peace through subnational governance” published on 26 January with The Brookings Institution Simona Ross, Stefan Wolff and Alexandre Marc take a look at the current efforts for peacebuilding in Libya. The authors put in question the distribution of political power and state resources as presented in the 2017 constitutional proposal which is pending ratification, as agreed within the framework of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum process supported by the UN and introduce the concept of subnational governance as a driver for political stability.Click here to read the full article.
