Integration and Representation of tribal structures to support Libyan state-building process

In the February 2019 issue of Clingendael CRU Policy Brief, researchers Al-Hamzeh Al-Shadeedi and Nancy Ezzedine discuss the notion of tribal  structures in Libya. They provide recommendations on how to effectively engage with tribal actors and traditional authorities within the state-building process.
