Shift in Italian policy towards Libya to protect oil interests

In an article published on 27 September on Energy Voice, Bloomberg reports on the difficulties faced by the oil company ENI in Libya since 2011 and the political and security tensions which ensued. It is noted that ENI has attempted to maintain its presence and operations throughout the different phases of Libya’s difficult transition and was most notably impacted by the rivalry between Libyan institutions.
