Gaddafi's finances may save Libya's new budget

On July 15, writing in the Middle East Monitor the Libyan academic and freelance journalist, Dr Mustafa Fetouri, detailed some of the dysfunctionalities of the Libyan economy, arguing that ‘wrangling over the budget once again highlights the fact that money has always been at the heart of the problem in Libya’.
