The unclosed wounds of ISIS’s Sirte

In an article published by The Daily Beast on 5 July, Oliver Imhof and Osama Mansour from Airwars recount the days of the occupation of Sirte by ISIS. The article describes the transformation of the city as the terrorist organization overtakes it, and the fight that followed in late 2016 to liberate Sirte.
